Inspired by many years spending time in Fitzrovia, rediscovering new places and spaces in this part of London that keeps changing slowly, with nuance, always leaving a little trace of what has been there before. I always had a feeling of being taken for a journey, pulled into spaces, rather than navigating my own way, in this constant living, wonderful place of day and night.
This series of 4 portraits focuses on the people of Fitzrovia and the way in which social character is interlinked with the place’s creative nature, very much underpinned by the urban spirit of the place and its openness.
